Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Position Overview
We’re seeking a dedicated RN to join our Emergency Department team in a casual capacity. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality, patient-centered care during critical moments, ensuring patients receive safe and effective treatment.

The Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse delivers both direct and indirect nursing care in emergency and medical-surgical settings, consistent with the Standards and Scope of Practice for Registered Nurses. As a key member of the healthcare team, the ED RN works collaboratively with providers, technicians, and fellow nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Core responsibilities include patient assessment, planning and implementing care, administering treatments, evaluating progress toward goals, and supporting patients and families through critical situations. The RN may also float to other clinical departments as needed.

This role requires professionalism, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment while caring for patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active/current RN license in Washington State.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• TNCC required within six (6) months of hire.
• Basic computer skills required.

Experience

• Minimum of six (6) months nursing experience preferred.
