Surgical Registered Nurse

Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our preoperative team. This role primarily supports Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) patients, with additional responsibilities in the Pre-Op area as needed. The Surgical RN plays a key role in ensuring patient safety, comfort, and quality outcomes throughout the surgical care continuum.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the perioperative setting, including PACU and Pre-Op services
• Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to deliver coordinated, high-quality care
• Demonstrate excellence in communication and customer service with patients, families, and colleagues
• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety procedures, and clinical best practices
• Ensure a clean, safe, and supportive environment for all patients in surgical services

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Active Washington State RN license (or ability to obtain)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Preferred: CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) credential
• Preferred: Minimum two years of perioperative nursing experience or successful completion of a surgery nursing internship program
