Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Pharmacist to join our collaborative Pharmacy team. This is a casual position with varied hours. The Pharmacy is staffed Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Clinical Pharmacist plays a vital role in optimizing patient care through comprehensive drug therapy services. Care is provided across all age groups, from neonates to geriatric patients, and may involve direct interaction with patients or collaboration with healthcare providers. Working as an integral member of the care team, the Pharmacist ensures safe, effective, and evidence-based medication management while promoting the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services across diverse patient populations.
  • Integrate pharmaceutical care into the overall patient care process, collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and other team members.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and recommend appropriate drug therapies to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all pharmacy policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver age-appropriate pharmaceutical services with a focus on safety, efficacy, and patient education.
  • Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization through professional and ethical practice.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy (Pharm.D. preferred).
  • Completion of an ASHP-accredited residency or equivalent clinical experience preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Current registration and license with the Washington State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of clinical pharmacy experience required.
  • Hospital or inpatient pharmacy experience preferred.
